While Aunt Tina was here in Colorado visiting {we miss you!} we made sure we made a trip out to the pumpkin patch. We have heard so many things about this Anderson Farms. It was so fun!! There is quite a bit to do. Lots of animals in the petting zoo, and there was a baby Llama just hours old, named Happy. There were some baby goats too. It was so cute to see Jackson so into the farm animals.
Then Jackson went thru a little maze that was just his size. Tina said he just wanted to crawl under all the boards and get out, but she helped him through it all. Then we got to milk a cow {not really}.
And of course had to make the trip out to the pumpkin patch {PP}. But not only was it a ride to the PP but we also rode by some buffalo and they gave us some food to feed them.
They were HUGE!
Then Jackson went thru a little maze that was just his size. Tina said he just wanted to crawl under all the boards and get out, but she helped him through it all. Then we got to milk a cow {not really}.Then off to the feild to pick, literally pick our own pumpkin. I never knew that the stems on a pumpkin were so prickly when they came straight off the vine. But such a fun place. I'm sure this is the place we will be going every year. Jackson was hilarious. SO NOT into the actual pumpkins, but wanted all the gourds he could carry. And when it was time to take a picture... not interested. But we had fun nonetheless.
Once we got back from PP, they had this really cool barrel train. We made Tina ride with him. Sorry Tina.HAPPY FALL!
