.culture | fest.

Last weekend we headed out to our little city's Annual Culture Fest. For the last 2 years it has reminded me of Daphne. When we went 3 years ago (the day before her due date) we walked around a lot! We went to Pinnochios for lunch & I got the spicy italian sausage sandwich (a recommondation from my Aunt Lori). Then we walked for a good 2-3 hours. It put me into labor with Daphne!

But this year was super fun too! We finally found the petting zoo & the free pony rides that they have every year, but can never find because we never go far enough down the road. Daphne loved the pony ride & the little petting zoo. They had 3 or 4 bounce houses for the kids to get in for free. We made a stop to 2 of them. They also have a little carnival there, along with TONS of food vendors and lots of informational tents. And of course Porter was a champ & did not make a fuss!

While we were at the carnival end of it, Jackson insisted that he ride the roller coaster... He was NOT a fan! Haha! Then his other ride choice was the BIG slide, with the burlap piece you use to slide down. He caught some serious air. He looked pretty relieved when he was down the slide. :) Daphne was not tall enough for either the Dragon roller coaster or the slide. So she got the carosel & the fire truck. She was content enough with those.

can you see his face?

I love this picture!

so happy to be on her pink pony

It was a fun-filled afternoon in our little town of Brighton, Colorado!
