Matt has decided that we will be going out twice a month to explore and see Colorado! He has checked out some family friendly hike books at the library. He has the next 2 picked out for our next adventures. We were able to get a free hiking baby backpack that is perfect for Porter. Daphne wasn't the best hiker, but Jackson was a bit sad that we were only doing one hike that day. This one was near Conifer (about an hour & a half from our home). It was perfect weather, and we got to walk next to a little river/ stream the entire hike (.75 miles each way).

We loved hiking in Colorado. You should check out Pine Valley Ranch Reserve. It's a beautiful hike with fishing in the river or the lake.
We have two hiking backpacks, one for the baby and one for the toddler.
I LOVE that you are doing that as a family! We need to get on the family hikes...wish we were already since now is the time to do it in Georgia. Love the pics my Heidi!!!
