Sadly this year, like last the frieworks were canceled for the night due to rain, and strong winds. It was quite a bummer. Before we headed out to see what was going on with our city of Brighton, we all enjoyed some cupcakes and fruit. Once we got there, the rain was not giving up and the wind was still strong. So we decided to go back to the house and do our own little show, with the poppers, & sparklers.

We've lived in Colorado for five years now. I'm pretty sure that the weather has stuck every single fourth of july we've lived here. What a bummer!
i loved our little show! i didn't feel like we missed out at all. so fun!
