Both Matt and I had the day off {very rare}, so we decided to make a fun family day. Matt got online and asked around to see what we could do outdoors with a little one {who is 13 months by the way}. So someone suggested Evergreen. It had a nice little trail circling a lake. We packed a lunch and took the stroller. Once we got there we ate, and then walked around the lake.

Then we decided to take it up a notch and go BIG! Just kidding. We drove to a trail head and did a 3 mile hike. It was a fun one, and perfect for a little one that is on the verge of walking and wanting to be down on his own. But is was a beautiful hike. We even had the pleasure of seeing some deer walking through the trail {the center picture}.
All in all we had a great time as a family.
